Admissions

Our children enjoy coming to school and this starts with our close partnership with parents/carers and how we work together to ensure that new children quickly feel safe, secure and are keen to learn.

Whether a child starts with us in Reception or any other year, we take time to meet the family in order that we have sufficient information to ensure a successful first day and that the child feels familiar and comfortable in their new setting.

We hold a number of transition/welcome events in the evening and during the day for further opportunities for new parents to meet staff, governors and other parents and to hear more about the school and the curriculum. We are committed to working with parents to share how we can best support each child’s welfare and learning.

We are exceptionally proud of our children who, by the end of Year 6, are sufficiently confident and determined to move onto the next stage of their education and to tackle new challenges ahead.
