Parent Governors

Michele Dainty - Chair of Governors

I became a Governor in the Autumn of 2012 and have recently been elected as Chair of Governors.  My son has left St James but my daughter is still at the school.  I currently work for a large fast-moving consumer goods company in marketing, but have held various roles within Sales and HR – this experience will, I hope, enable me to contribute and add value to the team.  I enjoy representing the parents within the Governing Body, so please feel free to contact me.

I have three daughters, one of whom is still at St James. I have worked in Marketing, Sales and HR throughout my career and currently work part-time in an HR role. I have been a class rep and also have helped in the children’s classes, so please feel free to talk to me in the playground to share your views.

I have two daughters, one has now left St James and the other is still at the school. I have worked in banking for the past 18 years, where I have led the financing of several school new build and refurbishment projects. I hope the skills I have acquired make a useful contribution to the Governing Body in supporting St James as it continues to evolve and provide for the ever changing needs of the local community.

I have three children, one daughter at St James with my son joining September 2019. I currently work in HR analytics at a large FMCG company and prior to this I have had a variety of roles in HR, change management and IT. I am really passionate about making St James school the best it can be for everyone in the school community, with an extra focus on SEN provision as the SEN governor.

I am currently a full time mum to my two sons, and have lived in Weybridge for 6 years. I was elected as a Parent Governor in the summer of 2019, and am the governor for EYFS/Reception. Both my sons are currently at St James, one in infants and the other in juniors. I have been a class rep and have helped in my sons' classes, and I a now thrilled to be supporting our wonderful school as a governor.
