This is held every morning from 8am, is fully supervised and includes breakfast. Each session costs £5. Activities include board games, construction toys and games on the computer. The children may also choose to read. They play happily together and start the morning in a positive frame of mind.
Infants (Reception – Year 2) 8.55am – 3.00pm
Juniors (Year 3 – Year 6) 8.50am – 3.05pm
The school gates are locked to vehicles at 8.20am. The pedestrian gates and School Office open at 8.40am. Children should not enter school premises until this time unless attending Breakfast Club. Older children make their way to the Junior Playground where they are supervised. Parents are asked to accompany younger children onto the Infant Playground and wait with them at the classroom door.
Teachers welcome children into class from 8.45am to allow for a gradual and settled start to the school day. Early morning activities are planned or children can read or respond to marking comments (age appropriate).
The school bell rings at 8.50am to signal the start of the school day for children in KS2. Younger children officially start at 8.55am.
This is at 10.40am for the whole school following daily Collective Worship. A fruit/veg snack is provided for children in Reception and KS1. Older children are welcome to bring in a healthy snack to see them through to lunchtime. We encourage all children to bring in a named water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day.
This starts from 11.45am and there are three sittings with a family service. Your child can either have a school dinner or bring a packed lunch.The lunch menus are varied and include a vegetarian choice.
Payment can be made by cheque (made out to SCC) or online by debit/credit card to Commercial Services, Surrey County Council, Epsom Local Office, Town Hall, The Parade, Epsom KT18 5BY. Your payment will go direct to SCC and your bank statement will display www.surreycc.gov.uk for these transactions. From September 2017, dinner money will be £2.25 per day.

End of the School Day
Infants finish at 3pm and Juniors at 3.05pm. Parents are asked to collect younger children from their classroom door. Older children are released from their classrooms to meet parents on the junior playground or where agreed within the school premises.
There are a number of clubs running throughout the school year (see Clubs section) and children may attend those held after school. We ask them to take all of their belongings with them to avoid returning to classrooms or cloakrooms unsupervised.
The school gates are locked at 3.30pm.
After School Club
