Co-opted Governors are appointed by the Governing Body as they have, in the opinion of the Governing Body, the knowledge, skills and experience required to contribute to the effective governance and success of the school. Co-opted Governors often have an area of specialist knowledge or experience and will sit on the relevant committee accordingly.

I joined the governing body as a co-opted governor in July 2023, and I am delighted to be part of this wonderful community. I also have two children who currently attend St James. Professionally I am a Business Director at a leading global recruitment and workforce solutions company where I specialise in providing HR services for schools and academies. I am passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential and as a school governor, I will use my business and HR skills to help St James provide a high-quality education for all its pupils, where excellence is at the heart of everything we do.
